JOB SUMMARY:
Wallowa Memorial Rehabilitation Therapy Clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of skilled physical therapy services designed to improve patient mobility, function and quality of life.
Working in collaboration with physicians and other care team members, the Physical Therapist develops individualized treatment plans and utilizes all available resources to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, patient-focused and committed to delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities Include:

Evaluating patients and developing personalized physical therapy treatment plans

Providing hands-on therapy and guiding patients through rehabilitative exercises and mobility training

Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed

Collaborating with physicians, nurses and other care team members to ensure coordinated care

Educating patients and families on exercises, safety precautions and strategies for continued progress at home

Documenting treatments, assessments and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Promoting a positive, supportive and healing environment for patients of all ages

Physical Therapist - Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy educational program with a Master’s or Doctoral degree required

Current licensure from the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire
- Must complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every two years, as required by the State of Oregon
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license required
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative clinical environment
- Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
