JOB SUMMARY:
Wallowa Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician with OB to join our patient-centered healthcare team.
This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care and obstetrical services, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education to patients across all stages of life. The provider will work collaboratively with fellow physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in both the clinic and hospital settings.
All clinical duties must be performed within the scope of practice as legislated by the State of Oregon, with a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient safety.
Responsibilities Include:

Providing full-spectrum primary care, including preventive, acute and chronic disease management

Delivering obstetrical care, including prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum services

Performing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and developing care plans

Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments

Educating patients and families about health conditions, preventive care and treatment plans

Collaborating with other providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Family Practice Physician with OB - Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be licensed as an MD or DO in the State of Oregon

Board Certified in Family Medicine with Obstetrics required

Current BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications required or ability to obtain upon hire

ATLS certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire if participating in ED rotation

Completion of all required annual trainings

Ongoing maintenance of continuing medical education (CME) as required by state licensure
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
- Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
