JOB SUMMARY:
The Nurse Supervisor’s role includes but is not limited to: the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients’ status, plan of care and goal achievement. They must work within their scope of practice as legislated by the State of Oregon. This RN will oversee other RN's, and patient care personnel, including CNA's, ED Technicians, etc.. They must have at least 5 years experience in an acute care setting; charge or supervisory experience preferred. Med/Surg experience is required. ER and/or OB experience is required with the ability to orient to both and complete competency requirements within 6 months of start.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Oregon RN License
- Prior Med-Surg experience required
- Five (5) years acute care experience required
- Prior ER and/or OB experience required OR ability to orient and complete competency within 6 months
- Charge or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS required
- Current ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred
- Performs all duties per the Oregon Nurse Practice Act
- Strong computer skills required
- Good assessment skills required
- Strong communication skills required
- Must meet requirements of the Job Description
